Blue Blaze Contest Entry: Finally Finished

has a fun contest going on this month!  Come up with a super heroine for her new OC based on the parameters she laid down.  Here is my initial entry  [[ will do another pic of her in action ]]

She had labored long and hard on the technology, finishing the work her father began.  She was exhausted, but felt satisfaction as she looked over her creation.  It was finally complete.  It's completion was bittersweet, as each advancement towards her goal was one more thing she couldn't share with her father.  He had been a brilliant scientist and his inventions were revolutionary, but men, greedy and cruel, whom her father thought were friends and colleagues, betrayed him.  Stole his ideas.  Ruined him.  Only this latest breakthrough in theoretical teleportation did he keep from safe and in the end, when their ruthlessness became plain, he guarded his secret discovery with his life.   Now his daughter, working in secret is finishing his dream, to vindicate her father's achievements and to avenge his death.   To that end she has taken his work in a direction of her own.   She had realized that his work on teleportation could be used in radical ways.  Ways that could let her strike back at those who have unjustly benefited from her father's work.  They would pay, as would anyone like them, the cruel criminal element.  She would take justice to them all in her father's name.   

[[[  The Blue Blaze suit she has created will teleport to her from it's power housing when she has need of it, swapping out her clothing in it's place.  Once in the suit, as long as the power lasts she can make localized teleports for mobility.  She has named it Blue Blaze due to the side effect of the teleportation powers.  There is always an energy difference from the starting point to the receiving point of the teleport, but energy must be conserved, and the energy difference is expressed as heat.  So when she teleports, there is a blue flame burst.  She as discovered she can use that as a weapon.  It appears she fires blasts of blue flame at her targets.  In actuality she is teleporting away a corridor of air between her and the target and the flame erupts in the evacuated space.  ]]

Contest Rules are here.... March Contest! Blue BlazeMarch Contest – Blue Blaze
This contest will begin on March 1, 2015, and run through March 31st, 2015.  There are two separate contests going on, which I will detail below: an art contest, and a writing contest.  Each contest will have a 1st place prize of 1200 points; in addition, the top 3 in each contest will get a short story written of their choosing, much like I did for my contest last year.
 
Last year, with the help of :iconilexx5: I came up with a new original character heroine named Blue Blaze.  He came up with two images as a starting point, based on photos of me:    and       and I came up with three powers for her to have, again as a starting point: teleportation, force field creation, and energy projection.
 
The idea behind these two contests is to give you the chance to use your imagination and creativity to develop Blue Blaze beyond these basic ideas.
