Cornered

A lone warrior searching through a ruined temple when she was set upon by hulking creature of metal. Her spear glanced off it's sides. Her sword shattered against it's armored flanks. It spoke strange words in a language she did not understand.

"Specimen located. Human. Female. Collection initiated."

Backed into a corner, the warrior tensed and readied her dagger as the snakelike metal arms of the beast reached for her.
